The saddest phone call break-up

*phone rings*

Her: Hi babe.

Him: I am breaking up with you.

Her: What?... Why?..

Him: Because I don't want you to be my girlfriend.

Her: Wait... *starts sobbing* what did I do?

Him: It's not you. It's me.

Her: What do you mean?

Him: I am just tired of all the bullshit in my life. I've had enough.

Her: So why don't we just talk about it?

Him: You wouldn't understand.

Her: Then tell me.

Him: I don't want you to be, in a way, my widow.

Her: What? I don't get it. Widow? That would mean you would be dead, right?

Him: Exactly. *begins to tear up*

Him: I am going to commit suicide. So... *starts crying* we're over. Bye forever. *sniffles* I love you.

Him: *hangs up*

Her: *breaks down in tears*

From Best Friends to Lovers.
